Fido is a cat with a dog's soul. He runs a school dedicated to teaching feline students the canine way of life, speaks enough dog language to walk among wild packs, and carries a bone in his mouth to sell the illusion. But when a mysterious messenger arrives in the night with an invitation to join a traveling chorus on a mission to rescue his best friend, and a litter of trouble-making kits drag home a sick orphaned puppy the very next day, Fido finds himself pulled in two impossible directions. Choosing one means abandoning the other, and either choice could destroy the life he has spent years building from the ground up.
